ive been offered a trailer load of lama manure for my allotment, has anybody ever used it, is it any good

It'll probably deter foxes as they don't like llamas at all.

thanks hillfooter and trillium, just looked at that article you sent a link to trillium, and it compares very well against horse muck, which i can also get, so im going to go for it

I forgot to mention that llamas are very territorial (and strong!) which is why they're used as protection for any other animals they're place with (sheep, etc). A llama hoof in the face can be deadly, and I suspect the manure has the scent/hormones/whatever of a territorial creature, which is why other animals will avoid llama protected areas.

Many people think alpacas do the same thing, but alpacas can't even defend themselves, though their manure is very good too if you can get it.
