Courgette leaves

Courgette leaves

Do i need to take off Courgette leaves as they seem to be going grey and crumbly, however i am still getting Courgettes from the plants.

Personally i do remove the leaves once they are dying,it will prob sprout some new ones depending on the weather

If it bothers you, you can remove the problem leaves, or simply leave them. The weather is starting to cool off and as courgettes are heat plants, they'll start slowing down and dying off eventually.

If they're going grey and crumbly isn't that diseas, mildew or something?

Surely these leaves shouldn't be composted!

I've never found this a problem -- mildew is easily killed in most cool heaps  :)
