Hi planted winter cabb plants today for collars i used roofing felt cut in 6"sq approx it worked under some brussels the slugs and bugs don't seem to like the rough surface cheers Tony 51

Yes.
The cabbage root fly (and the cabbage white butterfly) like all the brassicas.
