Is my chicken getting past it, don't know how old she is but past couple of days she been laying an egg without shell or even eggs first shell after. I know this as i caught her in the act, she has a dirty behind feathers are covered in white poo!!!!! she is ok in herself eats drinks but is getting heavy so cant jump over the hedge like the others, she likes to sit on their eggs and pretend they are hers (lol)  they have plenty of oyster shell
so its not that,  think i may hide it in some bread and water for her just to make sure
What do the experts reckon?

she is to fat cut her feed down by half for the next few weeks .if needs be feed her alone .wiegh the feed your giving the birds now and then divide by the number of birds in the flock and get back to me please the white stuff again is urine

They have a plastic 1pint cup of feed between them (3 Chickens) but its never all eaten so don't put more down till it is prob lasts 3-4 days, they do free range all day so could be eating lots in the field

i would guess that about 10 oz between the 3 way to much . is this layers pellets ? i would cut it down to 1 oz and remove any not eaten in the day

Its layers pellets with mixed corn all mixed together

Is that an oz each?   will have to get the kitchin scales to see how it looks

chop it down and you will leave em this side of hungry and lean ..

Its only the old girl thats heavy, couple of months ago she was very light.
The other 2 are fine

well then it may well be a combination of age and food

Ok Thankyou i will cut the food down and keep an eye on her, will clean her up as well and give her a talking to (LOL) she seeems to happy to go in the pot at the moment
