In the words of a well-known Aussie - can you tell what it is yet?

Epic at 6 weeks

(now 7.5 weeks, the cheeks have also fluffed out!)

Epic is very pretty, and hasn't quite got the cockerel stance yet, but comb and wattles getting bigger!

Well, here he is at 12 weeks - for he is most definitely a cockerel!

If the picture isn't enough, then you should hear him! He hasn't got the hang of the cockadoodledoo yet, sounds more like someone trying to start an old banger with a dodgy starter & a low battery      but I get the full brunt of it as he still comes into the front room at night - the girls won't let him in their house and Patches & her brood are in the other quarters for the time being. I really must get that sorted.....

My thanks to the Epic Appreciation Society - yes, he is rather gorgeous!   :D

Bev, I don't know about his dad but mum was almost certainly an Araucana as he came from a blue egg (unless from a hybrid, then more likely Skyline), all I know for certain is he's a Bitza! The little topknot & exploding cheeks are a puzzle though
