Just had a letter from the committee about the condition of my plot. The second one since September 2010. I've hired a strimmer for the weekend and asked for help (again) from someone else who's on the list, waiting.
Am giving the key back at the end of the year

Hey but we get marks on inspection for having an area of allotment like that.

If your site has a rule against flowers - well no peas, strawberries, raspberries and herbs, no borage for your pimms nor beans of any sort. Besides marigolds and sunflowers are edible so well within the food growing rules.
