I have now harvested all my garlic and onions leaving an area of approx. 5m by 12m which I am all set to prepare ready for next year's growing. Although I am also tempted to put things in there for the winter - the sort of "don't want to see a largish space left bare for a fairly long time" syndrome.  What would folk on here put in now? (apart from leaf salad things - have several salad areas on the plots already)
