I had given up on any of the Marketmore cucumbers germinating on the plot so I transplanted the leeks into the space.  As soon as I do that 4 plants spring up all next to each other.  I need to kill or move them amnd have no idea what sort of space the plants will need and if it is too late for them to produce anything.  Any ideas?

I grow mine up a bamboo frame with pea and bean netting for it to grab onto its takes up 12-18 inches of ground space and they happily grow up to about 6 feet and the cu's hang down.
Like you i have 4 plants just at the end of one bed, they could do better but i produce around 4 cu's a week which is more than enough for me.

Dont kill them now they have started to get going

Once they are established, they grow like triffids - a few weeks -, move them at peril.
