Looking for advice on owning chickens

I am thinking of owning some chickens. Could you please give me some advice on housing, breeds, feeding and all the pitfalls!.

I suggest for a start you read Muntjacs keeping chickens Thread

Housing is a personal thing depends on space, money etc I use the garden shed, Aunty has a trendy eglu and so on.

We all have our own ideas, but Munty is our foremost expert on all things poultry from rearing, to keeping to housing to eating them!!!!

So go to Search up the top of the page and where it says author type Muntjac, and where it says forum, put in Poultry pages - the hen house and you will find all Munty's words of wisdom!
