Is there such a thing. Most of my calabrese is foliage, masses of it!  That was ok when I had chickens

I am looking for compact brassicas for my plot and just wondered if there was a neat and tidy calabrese.

So far as I know you need to breed a new hybrid - could be wrong of course.

I wish I could. It would be an antidote to the giant veg fixation that seems to abound. I don't want a 28 lb savoy or carrots as thick as my arm with foliage 4 foot high, I want compact varieties that don't take over the plot.  I suppose if women were largely responsible for designing veg it would be small and compact

nothing wrong with a big'un now and then! 

My caulis were tiny and i was really disappointed  and I'm hoping the parsnips will be huge

I grow Autumn Spear, which last year got to about  2 ft tall overall.

That's more compact than PSB
