Doris the speckeldy (named by my 12 yr old son) is so cheeky and always the first there. She seems to home in on us before the others do

Its great to look out the kitchen window or in deed the office window and there are the girls in thier pen.
Dogs have got use to em being there - we have 9 dogs in all - the lurcher x jack russell lays by the pen, guarding them.
Doris had her eye on my labs tail other day , dog was sat near the pen and wagging her tail - it was so funny to watch.
Until the hens came along I was still grieving the loss of my mum (Aug 2005) but they have helped me get on with my every day to day life.
They are so therapeutic.
