Can anyone tell me how you know when they are ready for lifting and when is a good time to re-plant for next year?

When the haulm dies back. You can replant immediately or anytime before Mar/Apr

If you go down the lotty you can "hang out with the haulms" like a gangstarappa. Certainly makes GYO look trendier, but baseball caps look naff.
