Disappearance!
« on: June 04, 2011, 21:49 »
Last night we had friends over for a BBQ, and I did some corn cobs. We had some left (I cooked them on the hob, not BBQ) and my friend, who has chickens said to give them one as was (I was going to cut the kernels off), and said they would eat the kernels off the husk, and it would be a bit of fun for them.

Anyway, I went to get the husk, and its GONE - no where to be seen. I can only presume they have eaten it all. Can this harm them? I want to know, as I have another 2 cobs I was keeping for them!

if it was cooked and soft then yes they could have eaten it - mine do with cooked cobs but not with raw.
Staffies are softer than you think.

Yeah, it was cooked, I just typically cooked too much food!

Funny thing was, when I put it in, they werent remotely interested - but they then must have got interested when I wasnt looking!
