A couple of weeks ago my blue and white salvias arrived 'ready-to-go-straight-out'.
70 of them about 2 inches high.   I am really cross with myself, because I normally buy them from a small grower, and they are about 10/12 inches when I get them, and quite bushy.   Well you get what you pay for,  now I have got to crawl round and pinch out the tops, not easy with bad arthritis and being partially sighted.
I am just going to have to let them get to about 6 inches or more.  If not I shall have to dig them out, and start again.   
I am very cross with myself and disappointed.   Do you folk get disappointment with somethings on your plots/gardens.     My Dad always used to say to me 'buy cheap, buy twice'.        regards,  Mrs Bouquet

Having learnt from the past that certain suppliers are, to be quite frank, a rip-off whether cheap or not, I either grow from seed so I can control the timing, etc, or buy from Jersey Direct who never fail in their quality. Ready to go out at 2" high... - I don't think so; I would complain heartily.
