Hello

What is the minimum spacing I can get away with for Romanesco Broccoli before I give too many plants away - there is only 3 of us to feed so I'm not worried if the heads are on the small side - more small heads are actually preferable to less big ones

I space my normal broccoli at 18 inches and again tend to take them before fully mature, the packet on mine suggests 24 inch.

planted mine at roughly 12 inches apart 

can't really afford to giveway 24 inches between plants

I grew them a few years back (gowing them again this year) and they become prety big plants.
I think the 24" spacing is about right although you may get away with 18" but 12" is way too close in my opinion.
