Greetings all,
last year we grew some  outdoor cuc's on our plot..(marketmore)....I just let them ramble amongst the squashes and they were brilliant.
Just wondered whether they would climb?....if I put up some netting would they grow up it?,would make it easier picking and save ground space as well

They will climb if you guide them up the support lines. I plant cukes at my munty bean frame and they do very nicely.

I stuck a couple of growbags full of cucumber on the ground near my espalier cherry tree last year, and the next time I looked they'd leapt up the cherry tree and smothered it
