Timber Preservatives and DIY Hen Housing
« on: May 05, 2011, 12:25 »
Are there any recccomended timber treatments for DIY hen-arks? Given the time and love that has been devoted to the project, I'd like it to last as long as possible!!

I used fence life by wilkinsons, it's their own brand, has double wax content and is friendly to plants and amimals.  It only cost £8 a large tin and it goes on beautifully, gives the same protection of cuprinol and the other expensive brands.
