I'm considering treating myself and getting a Mantis for dual use-on the allotment and for the lawn at home.

Does anyone have any experience of using the aerator and scarifier/dethatcher attachments?

Yes, we have the scarifier/dethatcher attachment, it is brilliant on moss and saves a lot of hard work although you do still have to gather up the moss.  We were amazed at how much moss it removes.
