Recycling Grow Bags
« on: May 09, 2011, 23:47 »
I was curious to find out what others do with their old grow bags.  I have weeded some of mine and mixed growmore with the old compost.  Lettuce I have put in the seem to be growing quite happlily.  What uses do others make of these and what treatment have you found successful in reviving old ones?

You can add some fertilizer and compost to grow on lettuces, as you've stated, but after that, they're quite depleted. Some simply empty them into greenhouse soil and mix it all in to help loosen soil, others add them to raised beds for the same purpose.
