One of my Wynadotte in lay pullets is poorly this morning. She is opening her beak repeatedly as though she is trying to swallow something stuck.
Her crop is empty.
I have given her a little vegetable oil in case it is something stuck, and she swallowed that fine.
I have gently massaged down her neck and crop.
As luck (or sods law) would have it I started the flock on a course of Flubenvet yesterday. I am, of course, worried that she has gapeworm, I have had her only since 14th April. The other pullet I bought from the same hatch is fine.

Any suggestions about helping her or any other reasons there might be for her symptoms gladly received.

Gapeworm is my thoughts, is she taking the layers with the flubenvet? Also make sure she is drinking plenty.
