blighted canes

Just dug out sixteen outdoor tom plants - all of them riddled with blight.
Still have a handful looking strong in the greenhouse so not all lost.

My question to those in the know - can I re-use the canes that have been supporting these diseased plants on other toms? Or are they likely to spread the blight to otherwise happy plants?

Tried to burn all the blighted plants but ended up smoking out most of the village
Good beer, good BBQ and good friends.

Well I would just wash em down with Jeyes or something similar and use them again next year.
