I've ventured over . . . . .

. . . . from the poultry pages because we're growing veg this year :D

We got seeds with Johns books, seeds from a company we bought some gardening bits from and some tatties from JayG :D

Everything we have is familiar except Good King Henry, has anyone any experience of it?

The other year I planted sweetcorn for the chickens, tomatoes, cauli, cabbage, tomatoes and strawberries for us - the chickens nicked the lot  ::)

Glad it's not just me who grows stuff for the girls!  I grow too much kale and spinach for us so that the girls can raid it over the winter if they get a bit short of other greenery!

We didn't used to grow anything specifically for them, they just loved to browse the grass etc, but we never got a look in at the strawberries which were in a tall planter. We did get great entertainment watching them jumping up to nick the fruit though, which wasn't even safe netted. :D
