Survived the winter, new green growth, are they likely to flower?

I had some last year and did not plant them out left them in pots, noticed that they had started to grow so pinched the middles out,now they are coverd in flowers.I did think that all last winters cold weather would have killed them but not so.

Most varieties are winter hardy as biennials (live 2 years and flower in 2nd year), but they'll usually oblige with seeds somehow scattered everywhere. Really pay attention to the pansy leaves and watch for the same when weeding. I've found pansies and violas growing as far away as 30 ft from where I first planted them.

The seed pods explode, don't they? Mine planted 2 years ago are flowering nicely. Don't know if they're the originals or not....
