That was until they decided they wanted my onion sets then it was back the run girls they weren't to difficult to get back in.

That was what I meant to ask how old do you feel they are and how long till eggs to give me an idea.

I would say they are about 12-14 weeks old
They normally start laying at approx 24 weeks old so you've got a little while yet
If I'm wrong, I'm sure someone will come along and put me right!

I would agree with the estimate of around 12 weeks for the Sussex. She looks just like my girls did when I got them at that age.
They are a very pretty pair.
