Mine goes in my compost bin.
I cant imagine Rats who dont make the effort to eat from your compost bin now, would do for one or two grains a day.
We use chemicals in this garden, just as god intended

Hi, my mum is a serious gardener and tells me all the time how lucky I am to have chicken poo to put onto my compost.  However, it does need to break down for about three months or so otherwise it will be too strong for the plants.  You do need to put other bits and pieces in with it like shavings or grass etc

We use aubiose instead of sawdust for the girls, it composts brilliantly and is very economical to use.  We have some fantastic compost on the go, and hubby helps by personally watering it.  We have 3 bins and turn the stuff regularly through them every few months, then sieve one with a huge sieve to get out any uncomposted stems and chuck that into one of the other bins.  Giving us a new empty bin to start filling again, I have to say the compost is lovely, the girls poo is a really good bonus.  We do leave it though for a good 6-9 months to mature.

I guess this is related on this thread.  I am going to flubenvent my girls for the first time soon.  I have read in John's book that using manure from animals that have been wormed needs to be used carefully because it kills the worms.  Is this the same for flubenvent or is it a different type of worm and does not kill the wee fellas in the compost?

I've read that too, I'd be very surprised if Flubenvet kills earth worms.
Since, earths worms and intestinal worms really arent the closely related.
