i have just been to my local horticultural society shop and they were sell off older sock of seed potatoes for £1 bag, i bought a bag but dont know what i should do about the long white shoots they have growing from them. they are International Kidney salad supds.

If they are more than an inch or so long, you can rub them off and they will make new chits. If about an inch, put them somewhere cool and light to green up
