hi, has anyone grown snowball cauliflowers before and do they taste nice,

Yes, and don't know.
They formed a cauli but seemed to turn yellow pretty fast, even when their leaves were folded over to prevent, and didn't look suitable to eat.
Turned them into compost.

Not much help, but I recommend Candid Charm. Over the last year or two they seem to have been popular with folk on the forum - in the sense that they got a trouble free crop

Yellow curds aren't that bad are they?

Yes, they are good to eat. There is no problem in coloured curds. They come in many colours, purple, green, marmalade etc,.
