my speckledy has now given 3 maybe 4 no shell eggs, she seems great in herself the other 4 are all ok and laying well, she has access to grit and and green stuff, what could be wrong

cut out all treats so she eats nothing but layers and oystershell and grit. The grit is to help grind her feed up, the oystershell is to help with the shells.

How old is Miss Speckeldy and how long has she been laying?  Did she have a rest from laying at all in the last few months?

she had only started laying last month, we got her at pol at the end of last september, but didnt get eggs till this year.

I have a Speckledy that consistantly lays soft shelled eggs.  I finally wised up and realised that she wasn't getting enough of the layer pellets because the other hens shooed her off.  Now I put out several bowls of them in different locations and that seems to help.  Fingers crossed no more soft shelled eggs.
