will my hens start eating their eggs now?

when I collected my girls eggs today, I didn't take a box with me and discovered one hand cannot hold 7 eggs, consequently I dropped one; two of the hens couldn't get in there quick enough to gobble it up, too quick for me to stop them without dropping the other 6! I'm a bit concerned that now they've had a taster, will they now start eating their eggs?

They won't have associated the yumm eggy stuff with what comes out of their botties yet pb, they're not that bright
