...came home from work and out of my tray of 40 toms sown a week ago there are about a dozen showing...SOOO chuffed.
Now to get them some more light!

It's great isn't it; all shapes and sizes from the tiny little looping threads of leek shoots to the relatively huge brutes of runner bean shoots which sometimes bust their way through the sides of the paper pots in their rush to get to the light!
And that's just the beginning!

I agree with the foil. Tried it for the first time last year after getting fed up with leggy "leaning" plants. I no longer have to keep turning the tray round to keep my chilli plants and toms upright and they dont go leggy.

I love getting up in the morning and seeing the new leaves coming out of the compost.
Almost as good as watching the kids grow adn certainly cheaper and less stress.
