I don't dig or rotovate, not even at the beginning of work on my plot. Didn't weedkill either

It works very well and I grow lots of lovely veg

I use manure on my plot and I use mulches but that's not just a no-dig thing.  I have a bad back so I have to be careful what I do. When my back has been really bad I just had to stand on the muck heap and throw it in the general direction of where I wanted it as I couldn't lift it with the fork and barrow it  ::)

We grow veg in raised beds, so would struggle to really dig in compost or manure. We've grown some monster veg over the last few years, so it can't be a bad thing to do!
(Oh, my backs just fine, until I start to dig - thats when the problems begin...!)
