« on: January 07, 2011, 15:29 »
Part of our allotment is VERY wet, (there is a slope which leads to the bottom corner of the plot) and was thinking of putting in some sort of soak away or something. Any suggetions?

hi we are new to the site we have just taken over an allotment or should we say paddling pool, my husband dug a trench at the sides and bottom, when he checked today it all seemed to have drained away, some of the other allotment holders have told him to cover with manure but leave trench at bottom and later dig manure in, he will try this and hope it works if not its back to the drawing board
