I can think of a lot of varieties I can grow with better yield that will get eaten though.

You are right yield wasn't brilliant but I will grow them again simply because my son loves coloured potatoes  I don't need to mash swede he just eats it in lumps and says yum yum

got some purple majesty from sainsburys last year and to be honest i wasn't impressed with the taste but we did enjoy having purple spuds on our plate
