Kibosh
« on: January 23, 2011, 12:01 »
I am thinking of using Kibosh this year on my allotment plot to eradicate the Mares Tail.  Has anyone used this on their plots and is there anything that I should be mindful of before I go crazy with my sprayer?

To be more 'zoned' you can mix glyphosate rather thicker than recommended and wearing gloves, bruise the weeds and wipe the weeds over with the solution.  That sometimes does the job.    Cheers,   Tony.

I think Kibosh is only for proffesional use, and you have to be trained to use these kinds of weedkillers.

Have a look at the legal requirements and safety data sheets that you can download on the Progreen site.

I think you're right, MoS.

Although I am happy to use amateur glyphosate, I would not be happy if my plot neighbour used a professional herbicide without the proper training, equipment, precautions.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...
