RIP Jennifer

Some of you may remember a post about Jennifer our exbatt and her purple comb. Well after a month of pampering her comb became darker and she seemed very very tired yesterday evening. This morning we decided, after chatting with neighbouring hen keepers, that it was time for her to go to sleep. As you all know it never gets any easier, so today is a very sad day for us. RIP Jennifer

I am thinking of you. We had to have our dog put down about 4 weeks ago and you almost feel as though you are having to play God making a decision like that even though you know it is the kindest thing you can do. Good for you for having given her a 2nd chance as an exbatt in the first place. You couldn't have done more for her.
All the best
