Hi - could I ask please for suggestions of where I might find a small stock of family apple trees to order from - I am in Cornwall, but would consider a reputable mail order.

Also looking to plant a damson or plum of some kind - do they come in family trees also?

for those who don't know - a family tree is one where several varieties of a fruit are grafted onto the one tree to provide several types of apple/fruit on the one tree; saves space - and money I guess.

I got a lovely Spartan on an M27 dwarf rootstock. It was a delicious little crunchy red apple. The tree, for its size, was quite prolific, despite it being in a pot for the whole of its life

I fancy a family fruit tree myself but keep dithering on the choices
