Our brilliant chickens have just laid their first egg!! Well Alessi has! Hopefully the others will follow soon.
The magic of the moment was depleted a little bit by the fact the new rabbit we got yesterday had gone missing, and we found the egg when looking for her!
Also after months of waiting for the egg, it was my cousin who opened the box and announced 'oh look there's no rabbit but there's an egg'
But still... it's a perfect dark brown egg!!!
And the rabbit has been found and is safely back in her bed!
