My winter onions and garlic arrived yesterday from Dobies. Trouble is I'm not sure how to plant them, how deep do they need to be planted? and roughly how far apart?

If sets, assume they are, I would say a hole 3/4 - 1 inch deep and drop one in each.
Say 5-6 inches apart.

however wide your hoe is plus 2 inch i set mine 6in appart last year(it was my first) then found out the head of my hoe is 6in wide
