ordered over wintering onions/shallots/garlic from D****s and received yesterday (soon for october devliverey?) and on inspecting, found one garlic bulb was rotten to the core. called them and got a refund. took the things to plot and found 4 shallots just had skins and nothing in it. the cost of shallots was £5.75 for 400g packet  . I have written a mail to them saying I will be laughing myself If i asked for 4 shallots on post.

You always get a few "empty" shallots or onions in a pack in my experience.

Plus if you've paid for them by weight, you've not lost much if they're empty.

but I paid for 4 thick skinned multi layered of nothingness  . Bet them addedto the weight (would constitute of atleast one shallot weight)
