hi when ripe should blueberries taste sweet cos i tried one of mine and it tasted sharp would this be because it wasnt quite ripe or is there another explanation? :?  :?  :?

The berries need to be a full dark bluish colour with a small 'bloom' of grey to be ready. The plant grows only in acidic soil, so yes, the taste is a bit sharp and only slightly sweet yet tasty all at the same time. If it's ever sour tasting, then something is wrong.
