hi i have mildew on my cucumber plants and was told that if i spray them with milk and water it wil sort it out is there any milage in this?

Yes,10 parts water to one part milk,I`ve just done this to thecourgettes.

Does that recipe cure mildew on any other plants or just Cukes and courgettes?

Nothing cures mildew when it rears its ugly head! BUT you can slow it down and still get a good crop by using a milk or bicarb solution pick of the badly effected leaves so the spores don't spread. I'm growing Carmen cucumbers this year very expensive but milde resistant, I'll let you know how I get on. I also have problems with peas and squash  :?

PS don't be tempted to use a stronger milk solution because the leaves wont be able to stomata (breathe!!)
