Hello rosey Mad and welcome to the forum  :)

Plenty of experienced henaholics around to give advice and support!

Personally I would keep  the quails and the bantams separate.   Quails are more nervous and filghty than bantams.  Someone more experienced may have different advice.
11 bantams (and counting!) 2 dogs 1 cat

I recently bought Quail from a breeder (who also sold 25 varieties of hens and bantams) he said never to mix birds of different size (ie hens with bantams or bantams with quail)  Our hens free range around the enclosure with the Quail and the Quail get quite flighty when they get too near.  I am sure they would be happier separate
3 dogs, 8 chickens, 4 rabbits 2 guinea pigs, 10 quail, 2 fish and a demanding daughter who has gone to uni and left me with 29 animals to care for!!=)

All the advice I have seen (when researching quails) says do not mix with hens. :)
Experience is what you get when you didn't get what you wanted!!

I always advise not to when people buy quail from me..... they are easy prey for the chickens :(

I have only ever tried it once with two male quail who were nasty with the ladies and they got badly beaten by the seramas that I put them in with...... they were not even much bigger :(

They lived to fight another day though :)

Its a bit like rabbits and guinea pigs living together..... some say you can.... I say not!!
I love Pekins, Polands and Seramas :) and eggs!!!
