search for munty towers (all words) it will take you to a post last written in on 10th July.  It's an impressive contraption, and I'm planning on where I can stick it next year!

Indeed! I would like a suggestion  .  It's quite a beast looking at Aunt Sally's pics, and I'd hate to offend the neighbours.  Also as it seems to be a permanent fixture I don't want them moaning that I'm spoiling their view over the fields and cotswold way.

Have to agree it is a bit of a beast, more like an environmentally friendly bus shelter.  I havn't got the space so will stick with my wigwams.  Also, how does it work in a rotation system if you don't move it?

You don't have to rotate beans.  They are beneficial to subsequent planting cos of the nitrogen, but not detremental to continuous bean growing; many an old grower has planted his/her beans in the same spot year after year. (Now I sound knowledgable, - but will own up to having read this, on this forum about 2 weeks ago)

I made a muntyframe for my runners, it is indeed a large, imposing affair, but I quite like it, it definitely gives a bit of "height" to the plot. And being able to sow salads etc underneath is nice too.

The only problem I have had is that my crop is so poor  :(  planted out on 20th May just in time for a nice frosting and then has struggled through all this cold/damp weather.

Maybe I'll try sweet peas up it next year!
