Hi

Can my chickens have grit that I bought for the budgie? It does say that it's suitable for all birds.

Hello Beth,
I would have thought so.  I don't see any reason why you shouldn't try it.  Someone more experienced may disagree!

I have a bag of builders sand which my chooks broke into and regularly eat, so I can't see budgie grit being a problem for them.

Not a problem, but expensive. Poultry grit from a farm supplies is a mixture of grit/oyster shell and much cheaper.
