Aquadulce Claudia Broadbeans
« on: September 07, 2010, 13:26 »
Along with most plot holders on my site I lost my Broadbeans to Blackfly.

My plot neighbour has suggested Autumn planting of Aquadulce as the Blackfly should not appear over the Winter.

Other than a very harsh Winter is there any other problem I may have by doing this as if there are any I know I will get them.

I grew broadbeans for the first time this year and it was aquadulce sown last year. They started to be affected by black fly at the point when I was going to harvest them but it did not really badly affect them. If I had left them another month they would have suffered.
