Bluebell Sets
« on: September 08, 2010, 15:03 »
I have the seeds from a dozen or so bluebells, and plan to grow them as bulbs over the winter.

Questions... is it as simple as scattering them on compost?  Also, would they be ready for next year or the year after?
Tra-la-la-li-la.

A quick Google shows that the RHS indicates to sow seed in pots in a cold frame when ripe, keep shaded and do not allow to dry out.

I doubt you'd get anything for a couple of years - in fact, an identical thread on the RHS forums indicates 7 years ...
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...
