Over a week ago my potatos were in bloom, while i was there today i spoke to another guy and he said potatos are ready to harvest two weeks ofter the first flower,
so iv harvest the potatos and got a three large buckets full.

Now i have just been told that the potatos should of been left in longer and i will have to throw them all away.

I've moved your post over here, for you :)

All depends what sort of potatoes they were.....earlies 2nd earlies or main crops, as to when you lift them.
It's usual to leave the maincrops in till all the top growth has died down.
But don't worry they will not do you any harm just because you lifted them early.....whatever sort they were :)
Don't throw them away they are both giving you the wrong advice :(

Whoever told you to throw them is talking absolute rubbish!

They will be fine.  Perhaps they will be bigger if left longer but that depends on variety, time since planting and lots of other variables.

Just enjoy your tea :D  :D
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

I think someone is pulling your leg! They are safe to eat, but won't keep too long unless you have a huge fridge. Keep them in the coolest place you have and eat them up as soon as possible.

Never heard of keeping them in the fridge
I keep mine in buckets under the sink and main crop are stored in bags in the brick shed.

Some people are weird aren't they?  Fancy telling you to throw them away!  Even if they were small, they are still potatoes.  Look at how small some of the early salad potatoes are!

As the others have said, just keep them as cool and dark as possible, but look them over frequently to make sure none are going soft or rotten.  and enjoy them!  :D
