Mangetout & Peppers
« on: July 05, 2007, 20:45 »
Hi everyone,

This is my first post on this very useful website!! My first question is with regards to Mangetout, I have been away and some of the pods have become tough and the seeds are fairly large. Is there anything I can do with these as the pods are too tough to eat!?

I have managed to grow 3 pepper plants which I have kept under a clouch since I planted them out in April; they are only a foot tall and not showing any sign of fruits, is this normal?

Thanks Ally

Hi Ally welcome to the forums  :D  another member from sunny Leicester.

Shell them and just eat the peas, Don't worry about your peppers it's been pretty cool, so that will slow them down, don't feed them till they form fruit.
