hi, i bought 2 heritage skylines and was hoping for a blue egg, they have both laid their first eggs today and both are white. Does anyone know if they could enp up blue or will we be white only

yes, araucanas (from which your breed was derived) will sometimes lay a couple of whitish eggs at first until they get going. However as yours are in essence hybrids the outcome of the colour could vary from tinted white through to olive green 
Having said that on the araucana chart of egg colours there is over 70 colours to choose from

Put them on a saucer in the fridge and everyday take them out and say "tun blue, turn blue" before replacing them.  Keep this up long enough and if they don't turn blue they may eventually, after several months, go green.  Alternatively Joy may have a spell you can use.

Though seriously when my Cream Legbars first laid I thought the same thing.  Well three years later I'm still thinking the same thing.  If you are expecting bright blue eggs you maybe disappointed but they will look bluer if you look at them under the right light conditions in a blue box and screw your eyes up a bit.  Truth is they vary sometimes looking pale blue and sometimes white.
