can anyone tell me please,what critter that looks like a fat brown caterpiller and has little green babies that look like cabbage white caterpiller , and are in my greenhouse eating my tomatoes , there not just happy with one, i have picked about a dozen cherry tomatoes off today with just a little bit eaten out of each. also eaten leaves and pood all over the plant. thanks  :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

just been in the greenhouse and picked another five fat green ones off my tomatoe plants, i have never known caterpillers eat tomatoes before. anyone ever heard of this please. :wub: :wub: :wub: :wub:

Generally caterpillars don't have babies so I am a bit stumped -- any pictures please?

sorry folks for being impatient, have just had my books out and found out it could be the tomatoe moth , new to me never had this problem before , appologies for being so stupid :nowink: :nowink: :nowink:

Dannie never heard of the tomatoe moth however I have seen several large brown moths around this year.

Thanks for the advice -  looks like the brown moths could be the Hebrew Character moth, I will now have to search for any caterpillars
